Dana Danzey's nomination
for the Remington College - Mobile Campus
honor of "Graduate of the Quarter" was
submitted by Ms. Lana Mosley, Director of
Career services. Ms. Mosley wrote: MS. DANZEY
IS THE FIRST FEMALE NETWORK TECHNICIAN HIRED IN
THE 15 YEAR HISTORY OF CELLULAR SOUTH!

From Ms. Lana Mosley, Director of
Career Services:
Placing Dana as a Network
Technician at Cellular South seemed unlikely, the
job demands 400-foot tower climbs and carry 75
pounds of equipment. After four interviews, she
secured the job and started as the first female
Network Technician hired in the 15-year history of
Cellular South.
"Dana's work
ethic, dedication, and positive attitude
fuel her determination."
Dana dropped out of high school, but later
earned her GED to enter Remington College.
Even though she never obtained a high school
diploma, she was determined to earn a college
diploma at Remington College in Electronics
Technology.
Four months into her program at
Remington College, she and her husband of five
months experienced serious health problems. This
forced Dana to continue to work a full-time job,
make visits to the doctor and stay in school. Due
to her perseverance, she is the only person in her
or her husband's family to ever graduate from
college.
This is an example of hard work and
the realization that anything is possible if you
try.
Just look at her now!
