Welcome to the newest campus in the Remington College family, Remington College - Shreveport Campus. Our mission is to help prepare graduates for entry-level employment by providing them with practical, hands-on training.
To that end, we involve local employers by inviting them to be members of our Program Advisory Committee. The Program Advisory Committee, or "PAC", meets regularly to review each program offered by the campus and includes in their review, the curriculum and length of the program, the quality of facilities and equipment provided by the campus and whether the program is providing the students with the skills they need to obtain entry-level employment in their field of study.
Additionally, our Career Services Department is in regular contact with area employers. Our full-time Career Services staff keeps its finger on the pulse of the local job market and, at the same time, makes employers aware that Remington College has graduates who should be considered as the employers prepare to fill their open positions.
On any given day, a walk through our Campus might reveal Criminal Justice students in a mock trial session, Medical Insurance and Coding students filing simulated electronic claims, Medical Assisting students taking blood pressure, giving injections or learning one of the other skills needed to operate a clinic, and Business Administration students learning the Microsoft Suite of product offerings.
Please stop by and explore all the exciting things going on at our Campus. We look forward to seeing you here.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING LAPTOP
COMPUTERS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Remington College campuses
provide laptop computers to students for some
Associate degree programs. Laptop computers are not
provided in all Associate degree programs.
Students provided with
campus-owned laptop computers are free to take
their laptops with them to their homes or offices
and to use them for school and personal use as long
as they remain students in good standing.
Students who graduate or
complete their program of study, and who are
current on their financial obligations to the
campus, are given their laptops to keep upon
graduation or completion of their program of study.
Students who drop or are
dropped from the college before completion of their
degree or program of study must return their
laptops to the college.
Students who complete their
degree or program of study, but who are not current
on their financial obligations to the college must
return their laptops to the college. Failure to
return a laptop under these circumstances will be
considered theft. The college will vigorously
pursue students who take college property in
violation of their agreement with the college.
